Colfosco, at 1,645 m above sea level, is located at the foothills of the Sella Group and Mount Sassongher, at the margin of the Puez-Odle nature park. Summer
In summer it is possible to do many walks and excursions without using the car, because we are in the center of the village. Comfortable ropeways also allow the transport of mountain bikes. In just a few hours of walking you can reach beautiful landscapes, such as the natural park Puez - Odle UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sella Group is a particularly popular destination for climbers, with the famous "Via ferrata of Pisciadù".

In winter Colfosco is a popular destination for families who prefer the sunny Stella Alpina Valley in particular. Colfosco is also an ideal starting point for the Sellaronda/Dolomiti Superski ski carousel, as well as for the Piz de Puez ski tour or through Val Mezdì in the Sella Group.
